Party Liners

I had every intention of posting yesterday.  But then never got around to it, as I was busy printing, tracing, cutting and gluing envelope liners into envelopes for a baby shower invitation.  Good news - I got it all done!  This is all that's left (in my recycling bin)!  Now it's time to play catch-up - but I'm used to that too.

Baby Notes

I just printed some cute little notes for a little guy.
I love this baby elephant image.
If you have any baby gifts or little people that "need" some stationery - let's create something cute!

Motel Deluxe

This may be the last of my shipments from January's market.  These super fun notecards and contrast color envelopes are from Motel Deluxe.

I am not sure what my favorite color combination is,
maybe because I love the way that they look all together.

They come in packs of 20 for $20.  They are great just plain, but they'd also look great personalized.  Just in time for graduation thank-you note writing.

The final thing I ordered from Motel Deluxe is this set of 4 bird post-it notes.  Aren't they great?

TGIF

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!!
I really meant to do a posting yesterday - but it was crazy at the store (in a good way) and I never got to it.  Then this morning I printed the most precious baby shower invitation on this Mr. Boddington's Studio card stock and I thought I'd share this sunny card stock with you too.  Have a fabulously sunny weekend.

Spring Time Lilly

What says springtime better than Lilly Pulitzer?
It is definitely springtime in Austin, Texas and so I thought this would be a great day to share some of our new Lilly Pulitzer items.  For some reason I am obsessed with these croc cocktail napkins.  The pattern is actually called "Later Gator" (but I've always had a hard time telling the difference between crocodiles and alligators).  I think they would be fabulous at a birthday party or even for an adult cocktail party.   They come in packs of 20 for $6.

I love this rainbow of citrus invitation - it just makes you feel happy to look at it. I think this invitation would be great for a pool party, birthday party or even a cocktail party.  Here in the land of Tex-Mex, I even think it could work for a Mexican themed party.  The way that the citrus looks at the top reminds me of the little strings of flags that they have in Mexican restaurants.  They come in boxes of 10 for $12.50 and the envelope is  very cute too!

As always - my appologies for the substandard photography.  So this is a box of Lilly Pultizer playing cards with a score pad - perfect for the bridge players in your life.

Then, this picture does not do this item justice at all - this is a book full of fabulously fun gift stickers for all occasions (170 stickers for $12 to be exact)!  In addition to these great items we also have Lilly Pulitzer gift wrap, note cards, dry erase boards
and magnet boards

Inherit Austin Easter Egg Hunt

For quite a few years Hayden Avery has assisted with Inherit Austin's Easter Egg Hunt invitations.  For the last 2 years I've personally co-chaired the annual event.  Although I am not chairing the event this year I am still helping with the invitations and printed materials.  The above is a flyer that I created for the Heritage Society's website.  I'll share the invitation with you all once it is completed!

Inherit Austin is made up of younger members of the Heritage Society of Austin, whose mission is to promote the recognition and experience of Austin's diverse cultural heritage through the preservation of historic treasures and places.  If you would be interested in being a sponsor family the deadline is March 31st or if you would like to attend the Easter Egg Hunt please visit their website for tickets and contact information.

One Week Left...

Here are a few of my favorite engraved folded notes from Crane & Co.  There is one week left to take advantage of their engraving plate sale.  If you buy 100 pieces of engraved stationery you get the dies for free!  The dies are normally $48 each, so if do your name or monogram and your return address on the envelope flap we get to deduct $96 from your stationery price.  Don't these samples make you want your own?  I have more stationery than I need and it makes me want to buy some more...
Don't worry Dr. Mark I won't do it (this year).
This is the time to buy engraved stationery.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Thought I'd share a St. Patrick's Day invitation by Inviting Co. today.  Sorry I've been MIA - let's see if I can play catch-up now.
Hope you have a great St. Patty's day!

Monogrammed Notes

I just finished printing the monogram on these Crane & Co. boxed notes for a bride-to-be.  I love the way that they turned out and I think they'll be lovely thank-you notes for her shower and wedding gifts.  Brides always want something pretty to write their thank-you notes, but don't want to feel bad if they end up with leftover notes with their old monograms or names.  Having something flat printed in the store looks so nice without breaking the bank - an isn't that what most brides want?

Baby Shoe Obsession

I don't have a baby - but I am obsessed with these needlepoint baby shoes. I think they are wonderful and hysterical.

These are all the styles we currently have in the store.  Aren't they precious en masse? By Paige (in Houston) creates them.

They also make all sorts of other great things besides baby shoes.  They make pillows, ladies shoes, golf club covers and even glasses cases.  In Atlanta, at market, while I was busy buying baby shoes I  selected their needlepoint cosmetic bags for the store.

I also got some needlepoint coasters.  I obviously like this graphic needlepoint design as I selected it for both the cosmetic bags and coasters.  Enjoy!

Happy Mardi Gras!

Today is a regular day here in Austin, Texas.  If I were still in New Orleans, I would be home right now and looking forward to watching the Rex ball on TV.  Hope you all have a great Fat Tuesday!

March is Special!

The Paper Menu is running a March special!
Buy 2, Get 1 Free, and that applies to onesies, t-shirts, notecard sets and calling card sets.

I've given the onesies as baby gifts as they are so cute and SO soft.  Also, although I've shown a very juvenile notecard, The Paper Menu has lots of fun graphic patterned ones as well.  The patterned notecards and calling cards would be fabulous mother's day or graduatation gifts - which will be here before we know it!

Happy Saturday!

I had the day off yesterday - not just from blogging, but from the store too.  I got a lot of mundane things accomplished.  One of which was ordering Thibaut's Fish Bowl fabric for some throw pillows.  I know this is an older pattern of theirs, but it makes me happy to look at.  I've been trying to balance my work life and personal life better - that is why I took the day off.  We received a shipment from Motel Deluxe yesterday with some fun color block stationery and bird post-it notes.  I'll share those with you on Monday.  Have a great weekend!

Wrap Up in Snow & Graham

Snow and Graham is one of my favorite stationery and wrapping paper designers.  I love their fun patterns and vibrant color combinations.  They design invitations, greeting cards, wrapping paper and blocks of notepads.  They also did a line of designs for Julie Holcomb, who does fabulous custom letterpressed invitations and stationery.

So the other day when my mom gave me a Garnet Hill catalogue to flip through I was pretty excited to see that they now have douvets with Snow and Graham designs.  This one is their dogwood pattern.

I think those same fun patterns and colors translate so well to bedding/fabric.  This bed shows Snow and Graham's Roses pattern.  These beds look pretty comfy to me.

This is Snow and Graham's hydrandea pattern.  I have this invitation in the store right now and I adore it!  I often wish that some of my favorite stationery designers would do fabrics and in turn, I also wish that some of my favorite fabric lines would do stationery lines (Thibaut & Scalamandre - please do some sort of stationery line for me).

Here is a close-up of the duvets, so you can really get a good look at the patterns up close.

And here are the wrapping papers - pretty nice translation, huh?
