Happy Hump Day!

Appologies do not begin to make up for my absence...
I don't have any really good excuses either.
Basically, I've been lazy - that's what the heat and anticipation of a vacation do to me.  Luckily, I got in our MomAgendas today so it was a no brainer on a blog topic (albeit it's 5:25 p.m.).  So, just as you are settling into the summer, you can pick up your MomAgenda and get uber-organized.  In addition to the MomAgendas themselves, I also have Chore Charts that they make.  Perfect idea for kids that are home for the summer with "nothing" to do!

Bound MomAgenda - $45
Spiral MomAgenda - $25
Chore Chart (with Magnet so you can hang it up)- $16

TGIF

 Photography Credit: Q Weddings

I thought since I'd done such a poor job of posting this week I should end the week on a high note.  So, lucky for me, while I was looking at Style Me Pretty today I saw that one of our bride's weddings was featured!  I've said it before - but I literally get so excited when I get to see pictures of our brides on their wedding day, and this was no exception. Michelle and Patrick (as well as the rest of the wedding) looked stunning on their big day.

This was their Crane & Co. wedding invitation and coordinating wedding program.  They selected ecru card stock and "Kona" ink (dark brown) with a coordinating Kona liner.  Both the invitation and program have a very classic, yet contemporary feel.  For Michelle's stationery she selected classic Crane & Co. folded notes with her monogram and then fun, current envelope liners.   I had so much fun helping Michelle and Patrick select their wedding invitations (it was also super special because they happen to live on my street) and am thrilled to be able to share a picture of them and their invitations.

Congratulations Michelle and Patrick!
I'm so honored to have been a small part of your special day!

The Year of The Rabbit

I recently designed, printed, assembled and lined envelopes for a rehearsal dinner invitation.  In the Chinese calendar this is the year of the rabbit - which was also the theme for the rehearsal dinner.  I love the way that this invitation came together.  The backing card is a deep, slightly shimmery gold card stock, and is very complimentary to the brownish ink and brown low-lights of the envelope liner.  In keeping with the rest of the bride's printed materials the corners of this invitation were rounded.  I also printed place cards that had the same rabbit motif as on the invitation.  I hope the bride and groom had a wonderful
wedding weekend in New Orleans!

Happy 40th Dr. Mark

As promised from my "teaser" on Friday, I thought I'd actually follow through and show you the printed items from Dr. Mark's birthday.  His actual birthday was yesterday, but we celebrated Saturday night.  I really didn't have to do too much work besides these printed items, as he requested a night of karaoke at The Highball and a cookie cake.  Above is the invitation I sent out and then the cocktail napkins that I ordered for the night of the party.

To all of his out-of-town friends I sent this note.  In the main envelope, I included a note card for them to jot well wishes and a stamped and pre-addressed envelope for them to send it in.  I wanted to make it easy/convenient for his friends and I thought it would be super special if the morning of his birthday Dr. Mark had a pile of well wishes from his best friends.

This was the note card that I created and included in the out-of-towners envelopes.  It was fun for me to read friends' kind words on such a milestone birthday.  I think it was a good one!

TGIF

I have so much to be excited about this Friday!  Yesterday, one of my best friends from high school and his wife had their first baby.  As my "welcome to the world" gift I'll be gifting them their birth announcements.  They've selected "Alice" from Page Stationery, which is truly one of my top 10 favorite birth announcements (we'll be changing the ink color).  Nice choice! Congratulations Will & Lauren and  I can't wait to meet you baby Louise!

Then 'ol Dr. Mark turns 40 on Sunday.  We'll be celebrating on Saturday night (as well as in July with a trip to California).  The above is the "logo" I created for the party.  I'll share more party goodies next week.

As if all that wasn't enough to be excited about...  A couple of weeks ago I printed some stationery for Patricia van Essche.  Today I got a "shout-out" on Patricia van Essche's blog (PVE Design).  Thank you SO much Patricia - I am so happy you are please with your cards!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
Happy Father's Day too!

Ahh - Elle Decor

One of the reasons I love Elle Decor is that they always highlight a current and beautiful stationery line.  I remember seeing this phenomenal elephant stationery a few issues back.  This highly detailed elephant note card is by Bernard Maisner Studio.  I don't carry this line, but obviously you could go to the website and get your own.  Send me a note if you do...

Variety Pack

I just finished printing a "variety pack" of stationery for a customer.  Now she can select a notecard to fit her mood!
We also printed matching calling cards for her.
Who else would like a variety pack?

Yes - this is an invitation (by Meri Meri)! You pull the straw and the "drink" comes out of the glass and then the text is printed on the inside of the drink.  The envelope is the pretty blue behind the drink.  Thought this was an appropriate invitation to feature for this hot Friday.  We are supposed to be 98 degrees all weekend (which is not so bad when you think about the fact that next week we're supposed to be in the 100's).  Too hot to do anything though except sit by the pool and drink fruity cocktails...

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Hump Day!

Hope you all are having a great Wednesday!
Recently, quite a few people have taken advantage of the buy 75, get 25 free promotion from Crane & Co. (which runs through June 27th).  Here are a couple sets of engraved monogrammed flat cards and lined envelopes that recently arrived in the store.
I love the shaded monogram on the top card.

Monogrammed Correspondence Cards

I love a classic monogrammed correspondence card.
I recently printed some of these for a brand new baby girl.
They are so classic they can be used now or in 20 years.
