Get Organized

A new school year is always good motivation to get organized.  In addition to the MomAgendas that we have in the store, we also have their Chore Chart, Weekly Family Planner and Grocery List.  All 3 of these items come with large magnets on the back so that you can put them on your refrigerator or a magnet board.

As a side note - we only have a few MomAgendas left, so if you need yours for this year come and get it!

PicMe! Back to School

PicMe! Prints is offering a back to school special. Now through August 10th they are offering 2-for-1 on their calling cards, waterproof labels, ID tags and stickers.  The waterproof labels are perfect for lunch boxes, water bottles and sporting bags equipment.

The next couple of weeks I'll try to share great ideas for back-to-school items.  I truly cannot believe that next week is August!
Clearly I've been taking my own "summer vacation" from blogging.

Happy Hump Day!

I recently printed some stationery for a little boy who loves the outdoors.  For those of you who do not live in Austin, it is not uncommon to see deer in peoples front yards (especially now with our drought-like conditions). We also did matching calling cards.

Happy Wednesday!

Highlights for Mr. Boddington

Last week on Style Me Pretty, under the "New York" header, there was an article highlighting Mr. Boddington's Studio.  I love to read about vendors that we work with (that are also incredible at what they do).  Check out the article here.

TGIF

After my culinary experience last week in Northern California
(i.e. - eating at least 10,000 calories a day), I am super excited to cook more at home than I've recently been in the habit of.  Tonight we're bringing dinner to friends who just had twin boys.  Supper Club is on Saturday night.  Then Sunday we're bringing dinner to some other friends who also recently had a baby
(lot's of babies in our lives right now).

So, I thought that this Sarah LeClere invitation would be appropriate for both my week away as well as my weekend of cooking.  I've always loved this invitation and Sarah LeClere is here in Austin - so I'm happy to show case a fabulous local invitation creator.

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

More New Crane & Co.

It's all about the small accomplishments - yesterday I said that I would share more from the new Crane & Co. Personal Correspondence album, and look I'm doing it before noon!
The first two I thought I would share with you are a couple of calling cards.  Calling cards were traditionally left when you "called" on someone at their home.  Now people use them as ways of sharing their personal information or attaching them to gifts as gift cards.  I thought these were both attractive
examples of each style.

Each of the four above correspondence cards are just a few that I liked.  One of the new things in this album is die-cut cards and the scalloped cards are some of my favorite.  Doesn't this make you want some new stationery...  Enjoy!

New Crane & Co. Folded Notes

So in addition to the regular stuff that greets you after a weeks vacation (bills, messages, catch-up) there was also the new Crane & Co. Personal Correspondence album.  Overall, I think it is a fabulous new addition.  This sample features a white folded note with silver hand bordering, a hand drawn 2-color monogram (silver and lemon yellow) and the Silver Microstripe liner.

There are actually so many new samples that I liked that I decided to divide them up by category.  Today I'm showing some of the new folded notes.  For the new album there are also some new envelope liners, fonts and card stock colors.   This is the new Dalton Blue card stock and Dandelion ink and liner.

Another great thing that they did was show case all of their hand bordered colors on one page.  Doesn't this rainbow of hand bordered folded notes make you want all of the colors?  Not surprisingly, I now want some new stationery
(as if I needed any right now).

Happy 4th of July!

I hope you all have the most wonderful 4th of July weekend!  I am making a week of it...  As if I hadn't been bad enough with my blogging recently - next week I won't be around at all.  I'll be catching up on relaxation, bonding and wine drinking.

In observance of the 4th of July weekend, Hayden Avery will be closed Saturday, July 2nd through Monday, July 4th.  The store will reopen at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 5th.
Happy 4th of July!
