Cute Crane Stationery

Right before we moved we took an order for some precious Crane & Co. stationery for a teenaged girl.  It is so fun and lovely at the same time.  The first set she had her duogram engraved in "Peony" ink on a white folded note and then lined it with the small black dotted liner.  The second set she had her duogram engraved in gold ink on a seafoam blue note with the cherry blossom liner.
I love them both!

Colorful Stationery

Just in case anyone was wondering what I was up to (now that I'm working from home), I've actually had quite a few projects!  What a relief, right?  I completed a 3rd birthday party invitation, am finishing a wedding program and just finished printing the above stationery.  The card is 7" x 5" and the back of the card has the pattern covering the entire card (2nd photo down).  There is a cute corresponding blue envelope that finishes the look.
Cheerful, youthful and perfect for summer!

I'm Back!

After more than 10 years in our retail boutique a new chapter is upon us.  Thursday, May 7th was the last day of business in the store front.  I decided to make our last day in the store $1 day and it was a crazy last day!  Last week we cleaned, had furniture pick-up, donated what was left over of our inventory to Helping Hand and Settlement Home and then I moved the business to my home.  I am still trying to get my home "office" organized, but at least the computer is up and running and I have a few projects I am working on (a wedding program, a 3rd birthday party invitaiton and some stationery and calling card for a family).

So, with that being said - I am ready to start taking orders!  Call or email me and we can start working on something or we can schedule some time to meet.  I still have all the custom albums and am still designing and printing custom invitations and stationery.  Basically, it is the same service and selection you had in the store (but I'm at my house).  The following is my new contact information:
Hayden Avery Fine Stationery
email: hafinestationery(at)gmail.com
phone: 512-799-4164

Many thanks for your years of loyalty.  I look forward to continuing work with you in this new chapter.

New Official Blog!

So for those of you who've followed us here for a while - you know that originally my store was Hayden Avery and hence our blog was HaydenAvery.blogspot.com.  Then in April I merged with another Austin Stationery Store, French Blue Papers and we became French Blue & Hayden Avery (which is going really well!).  At that point I changed the name of this blog.  However, we OFFICIALLY have a new blog site:

All of the products on this site are still available and if you would like to purchase them, please feel free to contact us at 512-454-9400.  In addition, if you would like to shop for invitations on-line please visit www.frenchbluepapers.com.  We are also here in our retail location (1515-A West 35th Street, Austin, Texas 78703) Monday through Friday 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please visit our new blog site for new product updates and sale information!

Ames' Stool

Look at this precious stool that we recently received.  These are hand painted by a company called FlutterBugs and you cans specify paint colors, themes, etc. This specific client emailed a fabric swatch and referenced a Benjamin Moore paint color so that it would match her son's room.  I love it!

As a side note - sorry for the neglect of this blog...
I hope to be better now that things are settling after the business merger.
